Plan your game storage
Measure what you need before adding another drive.
Review your library
Look at free space and games you actually play. Archive or remove unused installations before buying hardware.
Verify supported expansion
Use your platform manufacturer’s requirements for supported drive types and models. Storage for archived files and storage that can run a game may have different requirements.
Wait for confirmed requirements
Use official publisher information for game download and installation sizes. Do not buy a drive based on an unverified GTA VI size estimate.
Keep a recovery plan
Understand how saves are backed up on your platform. Buying a larger game drive is not the same as backing up your saves.
