How to read these pages
Each character page opens with the role Rockstar has given them and a status label saying how firm that is. Underneath, the write-up separates what the official material shows from what we think it means, and closes with the sources we used. Where a character is tied to a stretch of the map we have covered, the page links straight to thoseregion pages and locations so you can read the geography alongside the people.
If you would rather start with systems than with people, thegameplay section covers vehicles, wildlife, activities, weapons and the police response in the same confirmed / seen-in-trailers / not-yet-known format.
How we label entries
- Status:Confirmed
- Shown or stated in official Rockstar material.
- Status:Trailer sighting
- Visible in an official trailer or screenshot; details are our interpretation.
- Status:Rumor
- Unverified. Treat with caution.
- Status:Speculation
- Our own educated guess based only on official material.
Frequently asked questions
Who are the main characters in GTA 6?
Rockstar Games has named Lucia Caminos and Jason Duval as the two playable leads, and has introduced a small supporting cast in its official trailers and on the Grand Theft Auto VI website. Everyone we have a page for was named or shown in that official material — we do not add names that only circulate in rumours.
Do you publish character images or likenesses?
No. Every character page here is text only. The artwork and screenshots belong to Rockstar Games and we do not reproduce them, so what you get instead is a written description of what the official material actually shows and where to check it yourself.
Why does a character page say "trailer sighting" instead of "confirmed"?
Because a name on screen and a role we have inferred are two different things. Confirmed means Rockstar stated it or showed it plainly. Trailer sighting means the person appears in official footage and the detail we are describing is our reading of it. Speculation means it is our own conclusion, labelled as such.
Will more characters be added?
Yes, whenever Rockstar names or shows someone new in official material. Each addition appears in the RSS feed and carries a visible published and updated date so you can see how fresh it is.
Are the region and location links on a character page confirmed?
They are connections we draw between a character and the places our own map covers, based on what the official material shows. They are a reading aid for navigating this site, not a claim about where a character lives or which missions they appear in.
