Mount Kalaga
Mount Kalaga High Lookout
Our openly-labelled guess that Leonida's high ground hides something worth the climb. Nothing official describes a lookout.

This is a placeholder for a tradition rather than a confirmed location, and its status badge says so on every view of the map.
What official material shows
Rockstar confirms Mount Kalaga exists and now describes it at some length: a national landmark against the state’s northern border with prime hunting, fishing and off-road trails, surrounded by backwoods where, in the studio’s framing, mystics and paranoid radicals live out of the government’s sight. Its own screenshot captions show a tree-filled ridge from a helicopter, a road between two steep hills, and a cougar hunting deer at a stream.
What Rockstar has not published is a peak, a lookout, a viewpoint, an elevation, a named trail, or any secret associated with the region. Nothing on this page comes from anywhere else — not leaks, not datamines, not community mapping projects, all of which this site excludes entirely.
Why it matters for gameplay
Expectation built on series history, which is the softest kind of reasoning we publish and is labelled as such.
In this series the highest accessible point on the map has reliably been worth visiting: for the view, for a collectible, for a joke, or for something stranger. Grand Theft Auto VI has a region with the word Mount in its official name, an officially described backwoods population of mystics, and a studio line about weirder discoveries elsewhere in the state. Put together, that is a reasonable basis for reserving a pin — and no basis at all for describing what is on it. See our secrets hub and collectibles hub for how we will handle whatever turns up.
Connections
It sits in Mount Kalaga alongside the much better-supported forest trails. The general problem of what counts as an Easter egg before a game ships is the subject of Easter eggs spotted in the trailers, and this entry is the one open guess we allow ourselves there.
How to find it at launch
By climbing, presumably — and that is the entire honest answer. There is no route, no name and no coordinate to give you, because Rockstar has not published one. The pin sits near the Mount Kalaga region centre on our own illustrated base map, clustered there purely so it is findable rather than because we think the high point is at that position. At launch this page gets replaced with whatever is actually at the top, coordinates and all, or removed.
Status & evidence
Marked leak-free speculation, the weakest badge we use, and the entry is deliberately shorter than our grounded pages because padding it would mean inventing detail. That is the trade we prefer: a thin honest entry over a thick invented one. Browse the location index to compare it against entries with real evidence behind them, or the map to see every status badge at once.

Frequently asked questions
Has Rockstar confirmed a lookout or a peak?
No. Rockstar describes Mount Kalaga as a national landmark with hunting, fishing and off-road trails, and calls it the state's northern fringe. It has not published a peak, a viewpoint, an elevation figure or any secret attached to the region.
Why publish a guess at all?
Because we would rather show the reasoning openly, with a speculation badge, than quietly slot an unsupported claim in among the confirmed entries. If you prefer a fully grounded map, every pin's status is visible on the location index.
Will this entry survive launch?
Probably not in this form. At launch it either becomes a page about something that is actually up there, or it is deleted. It is a reserved slot, not a finding.
