Who Rockstar says Dre’Quan is
Dre’Quan Priest is the music-business character in Grand Theft Auto VI’s published cast. Rockstar’s bio sketches a straightforward upward path: he sold drugs and put on parties, decided the parties were the better business, and started a label. The label is Only Raw Records, and his stated ambition is to make it matter in Vice City.
He is one of the few characters whose bio names an actual enterprise rather than a vibe, which is why he anchors a map entry on this site even though Rockstar has never published an address for the label.
Where he is tied to on the map
Vice City. Rockstar’s copy is about a Vice City label and Vice City ambitions, and there is no official material placing him anywhere else in Leonida. The link to Boobie Ike’s recording studio reinforces it: Boobie is explicitly described as a Vice City figure.
We have not invented a neighbourhood or a building for the label. Our pin exists so the label has somewhere to live on the map; it is not a claim about where the studio stands.
What the official footage shows
Rockstar’s extended gameplay video includes recording-booth material, and Real Dimez are visible in that context. That is the closest official footage gets to showing the label in operation. We have not found a shot Rockstar has captioned as Only Raw Records, so we are not pointing at a specific room and calling it his.
More broadly, the music-and-social-media side of Vice City is one of the most consistent threads in official material: trailers filmed like phone footage, viral clips, crowds recording each other. Our read is that Dre’Quan is the character who makes that thread a storyline rather than a backdrop.
Relationships
- Boobie Ike — confirmed by Rockstar through the studio. This is the strongest published business link in the cast.
- Real Dimez — same storyline, same scene, no officially stated contract.
- Jason and Lucia — no connection has been published either way.
Comparison to earlier games
Grand Theft Auto has run music businesses through its worlds before, usually as radio stations and in-fiction brands rather than as a character’s personal project. Naming a label and attaching a founder to it in pre-release character material is a slightly different move, and it is one of the reasons we expect the music storyline to carry missions rather than just songs. That expectation is ours; Rockstar has promised nothing of the kind.
What we don’t know yet
- Whether Only Raw Records is a visitable interior.
- Whether Dre’Quan gives missions, and to which protagonist.
- The label’s roster beyond the duo everyone assumes is on it.
- Exact spelling conventions for his name in-game — we follow the official site.
- Any voice credit. Rockstar has not published a cast list, so we do not name one.
No leaked material was used here.

Frequently asked questions
What is Only Raw Records?
It is the record label Rockstar says Dre'Quan Priest started. The label name appears in official character material; nothing about its offices, staff or roster beyond Real Dimez has been published.
Is Dre'Quan connected to Boobie Ike?
Yes. Rockstar's bios link the two through the recording-studio side of Boobie Ike's businesses.
Does he sign Real Dimez?
Rockstar has not stated it outright. Both sit inside the same music storyline, and the duo are described as having come up through social media, so a label link is a reasonable read rather than a confirmed fact.
Will there be a music-industry career mode?
Nothing like that has been announced. Rockstar has described characters and a setting, not a management system.
