Only Raw Records

Only Raw Records is one of a very small number of in-world businesses Rockstar has named out loud before launch, and it is the best-documented of them. The official Grand Theft Auto VI site introduces Dre’Quan Priest as a former street dealer for whom music was always the real goal, and states that he now runs the label. It describes Boobie Ike — a Vice City figure with real estate, a strip club and a recording studio — as Dre’Quan’s partner, and says the label is the venture Boobie cares about most. And it names the act: Real Dimez, the duo of Bae-Luxe and Roxy, signed after an early hit with a local rapper and looking for a second one.

That is an unusually complete picture for a pre-release entry. A business name, two owners, a roster, a motive and a stated problem — they need a hit.

What official material shows

Rockstar’s own screenshot captions include a recording studio with several people in it, a seated figure at the console and Dre’Quan standing next to him; Bae-Luxe sitting in a studio holding headphones; Real Dimez speaking into microphones; and Dre’Quan at a nighttime pool party in a suit, with a line about dancers functioning as his A&R department. None of those images is captioned with the label’s name, so we can say a studio exists and the cast uses it without claiming any specific room is Only Raw Records.

Why it matters for gameplay

Expectation, not confirmation. Rockstar has not described a single mission, activity or system attached to the label.

That said, a studio in a Rockstar game is rarely just a set. The official material already gives the label a goal, a rival-free but precarious business position and a social scene around it, which is the usual scaffolding for a mission strand: get the act somewhere, protect somebody, recover something, keep a party under control. Dre’Quan’s own line about booking acts into Boobie’s club suggests a venue-and-label pipeline, which would connect this location directly to Boobie Ike’s Vice City Club. Connections

The label is the hinge between three of Rockstar’s eight profiled characters: Dre’Quan Priest, Boobie Ike and Real Dimez. It sits in Vice City, the region Rockstar has described in most detail, and it is one of the three named businesses we list in everything confirmed so far.

How to find it at launch

We cannot tell you where it is, because Rockstar has not published a Vice City street map and has not shown a storefront or a sign for the label. Our pin sits east of the region centre on our own illustrated base map purely so the entry is findable — the position is approximate and carries no in-game meaning. At launch we will re-pin it to the real location, note the district, and record whether the studio is enterable or a mission-only interior.

Status & evidence

This entry is marked confirmed because the business itself is named in Rockstar’s official character copy, along with its owners and its signed act — not because we know where it is. Confirmed on this site means Rockstar said it or showed it. It does not mean the pin is accurate. Nothing here is drawn from leaked or datamined material, and we have not attached the label to any building glimpsed in a trailer.
