Who Rockstar says Real Dimez are

Real Dimez is a two-person act — Bae-Luxe and Roxy — and Rockstar’s bio is unusually specific about how they got where they are. They have been friends since high school. Before the music, they were taking money off dealers. Then they turned the attention they were already getting into tracks and a following, with an early collaboration with a rapper named DWNPLY mentioned as part of the climb.

That is a modern origin story rather than a classic Grand Theft Auto one, and it fits the game’s most consistent stylistic thread: everything in Leonida is being filmed by somebody.

Where they are tied to on the map

Vice City is the obvious home for a music act in this game, and it is where the label storyline sits. Grassrivers appears here because our earlier pass through Rockstar’s regional character material associated the duo with travelling there. We could not re-confirm that association cleanly on a later read of the official page, so we have logged it for checking rather than dropping it silently. Treat the Grassrivers link as unconfirmed.

Rockstar has published no venue, studio, neighbourhood or home for either member.

What the official footage shows

Rockstar’s extended gameplay video includes recording-booth footage with the duo present. Beyond that, the thing official material establishes repeatedly is the medium they work in: both trailers are built partly out of vertical, phone-shot, social-feed clips, and crowds in Vice City footage are constantly filming. Whether any of that is a browsable in-game system or purely a trailer device is still unknown.

Our read: Real Dimez exist so the game can show that economy from the inside — people converting visibility into money — rather than just decorating the world with it.

Relationships

  • Dre’Quan Priest — same storyline, strongly implied label connection, not officially stated.
  • Boobie Ike — the studio he owns is the physical infrastructure that storyline runs on.
  • DWNPLY — named in Rockstar’s bio as an early collaborator. No separate bio for that artist has been published, so we have not created a page.

What we don’t know yet

  • Which of them, if either, is a mission-giver.
  • Whether they interact with Jason or Lucia at all.
  • Any music you can actually hear in-game beyond what plays in official videos.
  • Whether the Grassrivers association is real. It is on our re-check list.
  • Voice or performance credits. Rockstar has published none.

Nothing on this page comes from leaked material, and the duo’s Grassrivers link is openly marked as unverified rather than presented as fact.

Frequently asked questions

Who are Real Dimez?

A duo named in Rockstar's official character material, made up of Bae-Luxe and Roxy. They are described as long-time friends who turned attention into a music career.

Are they signed to Only Raw Records?

Rockstar has not said so directly. They belong to the same music storyline as Dre'Quan Priest, which makes a label connection likely but unconfirmed.

Why is Grassrivers listed on this page?

Our earlier reading of Rockstar's regional character material tied the duo to Grassrivers as well as Vice City. We have flagged that mapping for re-verification and treat it as unconfirmed.

Are they playable?

No. Only Jason and Lucia are confirmed playable.
